The paintings are set in a fictional universe in which events take place between new and recurring characters and places. The main characteristic style of the Vera's are blurry, gloomy spots and objects. In her pieces of art, artist goes back to the roots. Combining the theme of the Trypillia culture with peculiar objects she is trying to underline the main topic of her artistic research. Imaginary figures kissing, female pagan idols of Trypillia, violins and lambs are reflecting the variety of forms and images uses in her practice and visual language. Painted on the wicker tablecloths images of the female nudes reminds us the figures of statues with no hands gazing at the viewer. Vera Nulla shows the new language of symbols with zoomorphic creatures which are the embodiment of birds with the human head on a background of a chessboard. The main idea that runs through all the artworks is a dream-fantasy, fictional reality and special plots in it. The events in different pictures are interconnected, sometimes there is a return of "characters" to certain "new situations and events". The images which Vera Nulla uses in her works were taken from her dreams where she draws them every time she wakes up. In these images she tries to convey the emotion of calm and static. Artist considers it a as process of figurative transition into a more graphite style. Artworks created during the last period demonstrate the new creative searches reflected in new materials and techniques for creating the art pieces. Working with the new images, Vera Nulla creates a new fictional world, which consists of images and symbols that invite the viewer to discussion and dialogue.
